This book is dedicated to two sepulchral monuments of the troubled period in the history of Pontic Steppe, which took place right after the break up of the Hunnic tribal alliance in the middle of the 5th century.  In literature the period is known as post Hunnic epoque (second half of the 5-6th cen). Northern Black Sea region steppes of those times turned to a through corridor used by various nations of Oriental race towards the West. Endless change of tribes destroyed the stability in the Northern Black Sea region, which was reflected in the archeological monuments.  This is why historians find special interest in linking  monuments of those times with nomadic nations that were in contact with both East and West. Gold adornments were found in the burials on Morskoi Chulek river.
